My name is Abby, and I've been reading for as long as I can remember. I am the Subsidiary Rights Assistant at ABRAMS.

 

I am 26 years old, and grew up in New York. I hold a BA in creative writing with a graphic design minor from Miami University and a publishing certificate from the 2019 Columbia Publishing Course. Since 2017, I have interned for various literary agencies, including Writers House, the Bent Agency, and Triada US.

In college, I taught myself Adobe InDesign to lay out a manuscript. I also use Photoshop and Illustrator to design book covers, logos, etc. I've been using Adobe programs since I was twelve.

After graduation, I worked full time at a boutique law firm as an executive/legal assistant. I learned to edit contracts and legal documents, and interfaced with clients and other attorneys on a daily basis.
