A novel about high schoolers who don't fit in and try to do something about their school's awful practices. I hadn't cried at a book for a while until I read this.

Anastasia meets Firefly. HoI is well written and its characters are so endearing that it was impossible for me not to fall in love with this novel.

One of my favorite books of all time left me furious. I nearly threw it across the train while reading it. It's still on the NYT Bestsellers List for obvious reasons.

by Erin Morgenstern Written by an artist, this book is gorgeous. I loved the story, but I think I loved the descriptions more, if that makes sense. As a whole, it's a wonderful, fantastical story.

Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal. by Christopher Moore I read this book in High School and it's one of my favorites. I love satire and humor in general, and this one hit all the right notes.
